A LITTLE CHURCH WITH A BIG INVITE!

Tami and I were in Atlanta GA sometime back for a little get-away and while there, worshipped in a large and very well known church.  We did, though, grab a local newspaper on Saturday night and began brousing the many paid ads that churches of all sizes purchased in an effort to draw folks in on Sunday morning.  One very small ad (all but lost amidst the mega-church's mega ads) was obviously placed by a small, yet sweet community of believers.  Underneath the name of the church was this slogan: "Come, Discover Hope Again!"  It caught my attention so keenly that from that moment on, I began to pray the Maplewood Baptist Church in Malden would be a church where people regularly find hope!  Stop in - let me know if my prayers are being answered.  Come and see if your depair and cynicism aren't sent running in the presence of the hope that is Jesus Christ, the Lord!
